Veronica Swink, LMFT

Veronica Swink is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist practicing in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. She is a graduate of Loma Linda University with an M.S. in Marital Family Therapy and Certificates in School Counseling and Family Life Education.

Clinical Specialties: Trauma-Focused Therapy, EMDR, Attachment Issues, Parent-Child Relationships, Adolescent/Teen Issues, Communication Between Couples and Families, Self-Harm, Grief and Loss, and Life Transitions.

Professional Memberships: American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Veronica’s passion is to encourage and facilitate hope, healing, and change by collaborating with individuals and families to help them process and cope with real life issues. Her eclectic style utilizes a client-centered approach that enables individuals and families to recognize repetitive patterns that are not working well for them.

​Veronica works with clients ages 10 to adults, couples, and families addressing a range of issues.

Veronica is a native of Los Angeles, California. A Christian and active in the church community, she enjoys dining out, traveling, and live music.

Preston White, LPC-Intern

Jerred “Preston” White MA, LCDC, LPC-Intern

Preston earned his MA in Professional Counseling in 2017 from Amberton University. He also became a Licensed Chemical and Dependency Counselor in 2012 upon completing the chemical dependency program at the Institute of Chemical Dependency school.

 

Preston has over 10 years of experience working directly with adults and adolescents dealing with addiction and directory experience with residential and outpatient treatment centers.

Preston loves spending time with his family including his wife and two boys and enjoys watching and coaching youth basketball and baseball.

Natalie Ross, LPC-S

Natalie Ross earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008. During her study there she got the amazing opportunity to work at the Children’s Bereavement Center of South Texas where she developed a passion for working with grieving youth and families.

 

Natalie went on to obtain her Master’s degree in Community Counseling from St. Mary’s University in August 2010. While obtaining her Master’s degree she worked as a Site Coordinator for Communities In Schools of San Antonio where she provided individual, group and crisis counseling to “at-risk” youth; coordinated physical health, nutrition and dental healthcare services; provided academic enhancement and college & career services; and offered family support.

 

After receiving her counseling license she worked at the McCullough Center for Mental Health Services where she provided counseling to youth, adults and couples. She is currently a Youth Trauma Counselor for MHMR of Tarrant County.

 

Natalie truly enjoys working with youth and families who are facing various obstacles and difficulties. She was born into a military family and moved around a bit growing up, but has lived in Texas since 1996 and DFW for the past 6 years.

 

In her spare time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and, watching comedies and anything related to spoken word.

Britteny Petty, LPC-Associate

Britteny Petty earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of North Texas in 2012. After navigating life and working in corporate America and the educational system her newfound passion became counseling. Britteny graduated from Capella University in 2017 in school counseling and completed 720 plus hours of internship with Ft Worth ISD. During her internship she was awarded outstanding opportunities to advocate and become a bridge of resources for students from different walks of life. Upon channeling through life Britteny decided to pursue counseling outside of the educational system which led her to pursue LPC credentials. Britteny has over 5 years of experience in working with adolescents dealing with neglect, peer pressure, abuse, and challenged behavioral thinking. Britteny loves spending time with her 4 beautiful children and husband of 10 years. Britteny enjoys singing and praise dancing and loves working out when time permits. I believe any problem can be solved with the right tools and in life sometimes we have to take a leap of faith and allow God to take the realms where he leads, and we follow. Life is too short to be miserable and sometimes all you need is a listening ear in order to create a clear-cut pathway for your success!

Holly Hammond, LPC-Associate

Holly Hammond earned her bachelor’s degree in secondary English education from High Point University in North Carolina in 2010. After teaching high school English to native and non-native English speakers for several years, Holly graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2018 with a master’s degree in crisis response and trauma counseling. The year after that, she completed a master’s degree in licensed professional counseling, also from Liberty University.

Having spent many years teaching in middle and high schools lead Holly to the counseling profession, and has given her an uncommon perspective on adolescents, the challenges they face, and the type of support they need to deal successfully with the pressures of living in today’s world. Not only is it difficult to be a child these days, but navigating the turbulent waters of parenting has never been more difficult than it is today. Holly also has experience dealing with trauma, abuse, and grief, and works with children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Holly’s favorite thing to do is spend time with her three adult children, one teenaged child, and young granddaughter. She also loves to read and to learn.
